CytoGrow™ Recombinant IFNγ (Human), E. coli, Tag Free
Recombinant human interferon-gamma (IFNγ) is produced in E. coli in a tag-free format, ensuring high purity and potent biological activity. IFNγ is a type II interferon and a central cytokine in innate and adaptive immunity.
Secreted primarily by activated T cells and NK cells, IFNγ activates macrophages, enhances antigen presentation by upregulating MHC molecules, and promotes Th1 immune responses. It plays critical roles in antiviral defense, tumor surveillance, and regulation of inflammatory responses. Recombinant human IFNγ is widely used in immunology, infectious disease research, oncology, and cell signaling studies.
