CytoGrow™ Recombinant β-NGF (Human), HEK293, Tag Free
Recombinant human β-nerve growth factor (β-NGF) is produced in HEK293 cells in a tag-free format, ensuring native folding and human-like post-translational modifications. β-NGF is a neurotrophin essential for the survival, differentiation, and maintenance of sympathetic and sensory neurons, as well as for regulating neuronal plasticity.
In humans, β-NGF functions by binding to its high-affinity receptor TrkA and the low-affinity receptor p75NTR, activating downstream signaling pathways that promote neuronal growth and survival. Beyond the nervous system, NGF also influences immune regulation, inflammation, wound healing, and angiogenesis. Recombinant β-NGF is widely used in neuroscience research, neurodegeneration models, stem cell differentiation, and studies on nerve regeneration and repair.
