Inside Sales/Support Associate

At TheWell Bioscience, we believe every person is unique and personalized medicine can improve the quality of life for every patient. We focus on driving advanced biomedicine with our 3D biomimicking platforms for precision medicine, cell therapy, and bioprocessing. As pioneers of the xeno-free 3D cell platform, we mimic the human microenvironment for organoid formation, stem cell scale-up, and a smart cell delivery system. By working with scientists from academia, hospitals, and pharma industries, we aim to improve biomedicine for patients worldwide.

An inside sales/support associate will play a fundamental role in liaising with clients for our products. You must be comfortable communicating by email and making calls (80/20 split), working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and assisting the clients with the product for their research, resulting in revenue growth objectives. Must have a biology or science background.

This is a remote, independent, long-term, full-time position. Must be able to work during hours in the Eastern Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts (Understanding customer needs and requirements.)
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
  • Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates
  • Work effectively in a team environment

Additional Skills/Preferences 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience in CRM
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven strategic thinker

  • Corporate experience is preferred but not necessary.

Schedule & Benefits

This role provides the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to work from home conveniently. You’ll follow a standard work schedule from Monday through Friday, with weekends off. A typical workday spans 8 hours plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Your shift starts between 8 AM and 9 AM EST and ends between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM EST, offering some flexibility.

Additionally, we recognize the importance of celebrating with your friends and family during national and cultural holidays. Therefore, we will observe 10 standard holidays and 2 cultural holidays based on your preference. Below is a list of holidays along with tentative dates.

13th Month Pay

By December and upon completing your probationary period, you are eligible to receive a one-month, equivalent to 22 working days, calculated based on your hourly rate. The 13th month’s pay will be pro-rated from your employment start date.

You are eligible to receive 12 days of paid time off (PTO). The first half of your PTO, totaling 6 days, will be available after 3 months of employment, with the remaining half available after 6 months. Additionally, you will receive 1 additional day off for personal use. Any unused PTO will be converted to cash at the end of the calendar year. Your PTO balance will be replenished at the beginning of each new calendar year.
