CytoGrow™ Recombinant IL-4 (Human), CHO, Tag Free
Recombinant human interleukin-4 (IL-4) is produced in CHO cells in a tag-free format, ensuring proper folding, glycosylation, and high biological activity. IL-4 is a pleiotropic cytokine critical for immune regulation, particularly in driving Th2 cell differentiation and modulating antibody class switching.
Secreted by activated T cells, mast cells, and basophils, IL-4 promotes B cell proliferation, enhances IgE and IgG1 production, and regulates macrophage activation toward an anti-inflammatory (M2) phenotype. It plays a pivotal role in allergy, asthma, and tissue repair processes. Recombinant human IL-4 is widely used in immunology research, allergy and inflammation studies, and therapeutic development.
