ISSCR 2025 Highlights
TheWell Bioscience had the pleasure of joining the global stem cell community at the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) Annual Meeting from June 11-14, 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong.

We connected with researchers and scientists at booth #803 and were thrilled to showcase how VitroGel®, the xeno-free, synthetic, and room-temperature hydrogel system, offers an easier, faster, and more reproducible cell culture method while providing an ethical alternative to traditional animal-based extracellular matrices (ECMs) for 3D cell culture.
Our xeno-free, end-to-end system supports every stage of your workflow and spans a wide range of applications, including:
The energy, collaboration, and forward-thinking conversations we shared at ISSCR were a strong reminder that innovation in 3D cell culture continues to drive meaningful scientific progress.

ISSCR 2025 marked an exciting milestone for TheWell Bioscience. As a global leader in 3D cell culture and translational research tools, we proudly highlighted our commitment to scientific innovation and collaboration within the stem cell community.
This year, there was strong interest in our expanding portfolio, with a particular focus on three new products that support researchers in advancing their cell culture research.
Ready-to-use, xeno-free hydrogel system for 2D and 3D neuronal growth.
Premium quality U-bottom plate for spheroid formation.

CytoGrow™ Growth Factors and Supplements
Premium growth factors for cell culture growth, proliferation, expansion, and differentiation.

Our favorite lab buddy and beloved brand ambassador, Alexis TheWhale, joined us in Hong Kong for ISSCR 2025! From navigating the vibrant city streets to enjoying local delicacies, Alexis TheWhale brought her signature charm to every moment. As we connected with scientists from around the world and showcased our latest innovations in stem cell and regenerative medicine, Alexis reminded us that science and creativity go hand in hand. Follow her journey as she continues to make waves in the scientific community—one lab (and one city) at a time! If you brought her home, take a photo and share it with us! Post your photo, video or reels in LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook. Tag @thewellbio @alexis_thewhale. Use #TrackAlexisTheWhale
We are grateful for the connections made and insights shared. Stay tuned for more exciting launches and event updates—and thank you for being part of our mission to move beyond animal-based ECMs.
