Recombinant human fibroblast growth factor 1 (FGF-1, also known as acidic FGF/aFGF) is produced in E. coli in a tag-free format, ensuring high purity and potent biological activity. FGF-1 is a multifunctional growth factor that regulates cell proliferation, differentiation, angiogenesis, and wound healing.
FGF-1 binds to FGF receptors (FGFRs) and activates downstream signaling pathways critical for embryonic development, tissue repair, and vascular growth. It supports fibroblast and endothelial cell proliferation and has been implicated in neuroprotection and metabolic regulation.
