Recombinant human fibroblast growth factor 4 (FGF-4) is produced in E. coli in a tag-free format, ensuring high purity and robust biological activity. FGF-4 is a member of the FGF family involved in embryonic development, stem cell maintenance, and tissue morphogenesis.
FGF-4 regulates cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival through activation of FGF receptors (FGFRs) and downstream signaling pathways. It plays a key role in early embryogenesis, limb and neural development, and the maintenance of pluripotency in stem cells.
