FLT-3L is a hematopoietic growth factor that binds to the FLT3 receptor (CD135) and plays a crucial role in the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells. It is also essential for the development and expansion of dendritic cells, influencing both innate and adaptive immune responses.
