CytoGrow™ Recombinant GDNF (Human), E. coli, Tag Free
Recombinant human glial cell line–derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) is produced in E. coli in a tag-free format, ensuring high purity and biological activity. GDNF is a member of the TGF-β superfamily and is best known for its potent neurotrophic effects.
GDNF promotes the survival and differentiation of dopaminergic and motor neurons, supports axonal growth, and protects neurons from apoptosis. It also plays important roles in kidney development, spermatogenesis, and stem cell biology. Recombinant human GDNF is widely used in neuroscience, neurodegenerative disease research, regenerative medicine, and developmental biology studies.
