CytoGrow™ Recombinant IL-13 (Human), CHO, Tag Free
Recombinant human IL-13 is a single-chain cytokine belonging to the IL-4/IL-13 family, produced in CHO cells to ensure high bioactivity and authentic post-translational modifications. This tag-free protein closely mimics the native human IL-13, making it ideal for use in cell-based assays, signaling studies, and inflammation research.
IL-13 plays a central role in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in allergic inflammation and asthma. It influences B cell maturation and IgE class switching, and modulates the activity of macrophages and epithelial cells. Recombinant IL-13 is widely used in studies of Th2 cell signaling, fibrosis, and allergic disease mechanisms.
