CytoGrow™ Recombinant IL-1B (Human), E. coli, Tag Free
Recombinant human interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) is produced in E. coli in a tag-free format, ensuring high purity and biological activity. IL-1β is a pro-inflammatory cytokine and a central mediator of the innate immune response.
Synthesized as an inactive precursor, IL-1β is activated by caspase-1 cleavage and secreted by monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells in response to infection or cellular stress. It regulates the expression of adhesion molecules, promotes leukocyte recruitment, and stimulates the production of secondary cytokines. Recombinant human IL-1β is widely used in inflammation research, immunology, cancer studies, and drug discovery.
