CytoGrow™ Recombinant IL-21 (Human), CHO, hFC-Tag
Recombinant human IL-21 is a cytokine expressed in CHO cells and fused to a human Fc (hFC) tag to enhance protein stability, solubility, and in vivo half-life. The hFC tag also facilitates purification, detection, and receptor binding studies, while preserving the native bioactivity of IL-21.
IL-21 is produced by activated CD4⁺ T cells and is a key regulator of both innate and adaptive immune responses. It stimulates the proliferation and functional activity of NK cells, CD8⁺ T cells, and B cells, and is involved in antibody production, cytotoxic activity, and immune regulation. The Fc-tagged format is ideal for applications requiring increased molecular stability or Fc receptor engagement.
