CytoGrow™ Recombinant IL-34 (Human), HEK293 His Tag
Recombinant human IL-34 is a glycoprotein cytokine expressed in HEK293 cells and engineered with a C-terminal His tag to facilitate purification and detection. Expression in HEK293 ensures human-like post-translational modifications, including proper glycosylation, enhancing protein stability and bioactivity.
IL-34 functions as a ligand for the colony-stimulating factor-1 receptor (CSF-1R) and plays a critical role in the differentiation, survival, and function of monocytes and macrophages. It is involved in immune regulation, inflammation, and tissue homeostasis. The His-tagged recombinant IL-34 is widely used in receptor binding assays, signaling studies, and macrophage biology research.
