CytoGrow™ Recombinant IL-6 (Human), CHO, Tag Free
Recombinant human interleukin-6 (IL-6) is produced in CHO cells in a tag-free format, ensuring correct folding, glycosylation, and high biological activity. IL-6 is a multifunctional cytokine that bridges innate and adaptive immunity, hematopoiesis, and inflammation.
Secreted by T cells, B cells, monocytes, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells, IL-6 regulates B cell differentiation, promotes T cell proliferation, and induces acute-phase protein production in the liver. Dysregulated IL-6 signaling is associated with chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases, cancer, and cytokine storm syndromes. Recombinant human IL-6 is widely used in immunology, inflammation, hematopoietic research, and therapeutic development.
