CytoGrow™ Recombinant LIF (Bovine), E. coli, Tag Free
Recombinant bovine Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF) expressed in E. coli, tag free. LIF is a pleiotropic cytokine in the interleukin-6 family that plays a critical role in cell growth, differentiation, and survival. It is best known for maintaining the pluripotency of embryonic stem cells by inhibiting differentiation and supporting self-renewal. In addition, LIF is involved in regulating hematopoiesis, inflammation, and neuronal development. This biologically active protein is suitable for stem cell research, cell signaling studies, and functional assays.
