LIF (Human), Recombinant Protein, E. coli, Tag Free

Premium CytoGrow™ growth factor suitable for stem cell and iPSC culture, pluripotency maintenance, developmental biology, immune regulation, neurobiology research

CytoGrow™ Recombinant LIF (Human), E. coli, Tag Free

Recombinant human leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) is produced in E. coli in a tag-free format, yielding a biologically active cytokine suitable for research applications. LIF is a member of the IL-6 cytokine family and plays a crucial role in cell differentiation, survival, and immune regulation.

In humans, LIF is secreted by a variety of tissues including the endometrium, placenta, and activated immune cells. It is best known for maintaining the pluripotency and self-renewal of embryonic stem cells through the LIF/STAT3 signaling pathway. Beyond stem cell biology, LIF contributes to inflammation, hematopoiesis, neurogenesis, and bone metabolism. Recombinant LIF is widely used in stem cell culture, regenerative medicine research, and immune modulation studies.
