CytoGrow™ Recombinant NT-3 (Human), HEK293, Tag Free
Recombinant human neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) is produced in HEK293 cells in a tag-free format, ensuring correct folding and human-like post-translational modifications. NT-3 is a member of the neurotrophin family, which also includes NGF, BDNF, and NT-4/5, and plays a vital role in the development, survival, and differentiation of neurons.
In humans, NT-3 binds primarily to the TrkC receptor, with additional interactions with TrkA and TrkB, activating signaling pathways that regulate neuronal survival, axonal growth, and synaptic plasticity. NT-3 is critical for sensory and motor neuron development, and also contributes to synaptic refinement in the central nervous system. Recombinant NT-3 is widely used in neuroscience research, neuronal culture systems, neuroregeneration models, and studies on synaptic function and plasticity.
