CytoGrow™ Recombinant PDGF-BB (Human), CHO, Tag Free
Recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) is produced in CHO cells in a tag-free format, ensuring proper folding, dimerization, and human-like post-translational modifications. PDGF-BB is a potent mitogen and chemoattractant that plays a key role in cell proliferation, migration, angiogenesis, and tissue repair.
In humans, PDGF-BB is secreted as a homodimer and binds to PDGF receptor-α and PDGF receptor-β, activating signaling pathways that regulate fibroblast, smooth muscle cell, and mesenchymal stem cell functions. It is essential in wound healing, vascular remodeling, and development. Recombinant PDGF-BB is widely used in studies of angiogenesis, fibrosis, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine.
