Are there visual or other methods can be used to verify the status of hydrogel formation?
Normally, the initial soft gel forms in about 20 minutes at room temperature. After adding the cover medium, there is a clear separation between the hydrogel and the cover medium. The gel is then ready for incubation at 37°C for long-term culture.
